
Giorgio Ascoli
Dr Giorgio Ascoli is Professor at the Molecular Neuroscience Department, George Mason university and founding director of the Center for Neural Informatics, Structures, and Plasticity at the Krasnow Institute, where he heads the Computational Neuroanatomy Group. His research focuses on connecting the cellular organization of brain networks to cognitive functions such as learning and memory. His laboratory hosts and curates a central inventory of digitally reconstructed neurons in NeuroMorpho.Org.
